What’s the meaning of these curious disks seen at various points on the cycle routes that form part of the UK’s National Cycle Network?
This disk is (I think) number 5 in the T2 series. T2 is the set of six disks with the theme of “the continents”.
I suppose this represents Australia — what looks like a kangaroo hopping about beneath a sunny sky, with the outline of Ayers Rock/Uluru in the middle.
